The diversity of his work can be found in the streetscapes and focal points of public streetscapes and homes.
D.H.Elzer's artistic and literary contributions, cultural and political commentaries have touched many Canadians, however he is still considered an unknown in both literary and visual art circles.
Projects & Installations
The WildCraft Forest Sculpture Trail is an artist-run center that has been a twenty-year passion of artist Don Elzer. The trail covers about 4km and is located in the Monashee Foothills in British Columbia.
Over 25 innovative contemporary artworks grace the paths and tracks of this scenic woodland. The trail covers over 20 acres of land, which is surrounded by thousands of acres of mainly densely wooded areas rich in diverse vegetation and wildlife.
The artists involved are dedicated to the exploration of new links between contemporary artistic practices and nature. They’re research is undertaken in a spirit of social awareness, respectful of history, evolution, and the current importance of nature-culture relationships.
